If you have aversions to foods based on the slightest smell of the food, you may be pregnant.
Fatigue is a common symptom in early pregnancy 12. Progesterone levels rise during this time, which causes fatigue. This hormone can actually induce sleep in high doses. In addition, fatigue is caused by low blood sugar and an increase in blood production. This fatigue is not just about being sleepy. It may also be that your mind and body are just not as sharp as they usually are.
In early pregnancy, you may become constipated. This is another side effect of the hormone progesterone. Increased levels of progesterone cause food to move more slowly through the intestines. However, as constipation isn't uncommon in general, many women don't think of it as a sign of pregnancy.
