You have no shortage of places to take your children, but you might not want them to miss certain famous sites. Consider what continent you're traveling to, and build your itinerary around the most famous places.
North America has a wealth of famous places your child shouldn't miss. The Grand Canyon in Arizona, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota are outdoor wonders that allow children to get close to nature. Washington, D.C., teaches the history of the United States with visits to the Washington Monument, the White House and Lincoln Memorial.
