Participants go to Sun Studio, where Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash got their start. They also see the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. They visit the early homes of Elvis, B.B. King and Johnny Cash. Teens will enjoy driving on Beale Street, the center of Memphis entertainment, outdoor musicians and occasional music festivals, and can see where B.B. King, Louis Armstrong, and jazz and blues musicians have played. The Memphis Walking Ghost Tour takes you to a Victorian-era mansion rumored to be haunted by lovers. People report that they see paranormal phenomena at least weekly at the Potonoc Hotel, and it is rumored that a ghost has haunted the Orpheum Theatre since 1921. The Orpheum Theatre, built in 1890, features Broadway plays, including "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats."
