Teen Camps & Summer Camps in Coconut Creek, Florida
Coconut Creek, a South Florida city located in west Broward County, is home to a variety of organizations that offer camps and programs to teens to teach them new skills and interact with other youth who share common interests. Teens can participate in sports camps and fine arts camps or gain valuable experience by volunteering at the Recreation Complex.
Florida Crushers Soccer Academy
The Florida Crushers offers soccer academies to children ages 4 to 16. Teens can participate in the U12 to U16 academy, which is open to youth ages 11 to 16. Three locations are available, including one in Coconut Creek. The academies are geared to youth who want to take their soccer skills to the next level. While participating, children learn the fundamentals of soccer and how to improve their game. Sibling discounts are available if you’re enrolling more than one child.
The Recreation Complex in Coconut Creek has camps and other opportunities available for teens. The City of Coconut Creek offers a variety of summer camps to youth up to age 13. High school students can volunteer at the Recreation Complex during the summer. The program provides youth volunteer hours for graduation. Other camps and programs occur throughout the year. Teenagers who are 13 to 14 years old can participate in the youth club, which meets on Friday nights. Some of the activities include basketball, dodge ball, movie nights and volunteer opportunities.
North Broward Preparatory School Camps
The North Broward Preparatory School hosts summer day camps for teens. A rock band camp is available to youth in grades 6 through 12. The day camp meets for two hours each day and is open to all skill levels -- beginner to advanced. The school also offers a dance camp that meets for four hours each day. The camp is also available to youth in grades 6 through 12. All skill levels are welcome.

The camp participants also learn the attention to detail it takes to care for the horses at the farm. In addition to interacting with the horses, campers also participate in crafts, games and swimming. Teens who want to further pursue their interest in horses can join the equestrian team, the Millpond Farm 4-H Club or the drill team.
