Lone Star Yogi
Lone Star Yogi is a family-friendly camping destination 35 miles northwest of Houston in Waller. This park is packed with children's activities. The park has water activities that include a six-lane speed water slide, heated pool, splash pad and poolside snack bar. If the kids prefer activities out of the water, the park has a basketball course, miniature golf, fishing, arcade, hiking trails, petting zoo, tennis courts, volleyball and the Yogi Outdoor Theater. The Yogi theater and characters are what make this park stand out. Yogi lives at the campground and makes daily appearances in season. You might also see Yogi’s friends Boo Boo and Cindy Bear around the park and at the theater shows. Yogi’s nemesis, Ranger Smith, is also there ready to catch Yogi off guard.
Lake Conroe is about 15 miles north of Houston and comes with a lake-side setting 2. The North Houston KOA is 2 miles from the lake 2. The campground has swimming pools, water slides and ice cream socials for children. The site also features "jumping pillows." Jumping pillows are a hybrid between a bouncy house and trampoline.
