Delta Toddler Bed Assembly Instructions

By Matthew Cenzon
The Delta toddler bed is suitable for children ages 2 and up.

The Delta toddler bed is a bed made for children who are ready to move out of the crib and into a regular bed. Designed for young children, the toddler bed sits low to the ground for easy access. The bed also features a headboard, footboard and two side rails for your child's safety, and it comes in various colors and themes for your child's enjoyment. With these instructions, you can safely construct a brand-new toddler bed.

Connect the four side tubes, making two separate side tubes, and lay them down parallel to each other. Rotate the two tubes so that the holes on the tubes are facing each other.

Insert the four crossbars to connect the two sidebars to each other, with two crossbars in the end holes and two crossbars in the center. Rotate the crossbars to align the screw holes on the sidebars, and screw the crossbars into the sidebars with the eight Phillips screws provided to complete the bed frame.

Insert the open end of one long leg into the side knob on the headboard. Repeat this step with the other long leg on the opposite side of the headboard and screw both long legs to the headboard with two of the long screws provided using the hex wrench. Attach any stickers included in the assembly.

Insert the open end of one short leg into the side knob of the footboard. Repeat this step with the other short leg on the opposite side of the footboard and screw both short legs into the footboard with the remaining long screws using the hex wrench.

Attach the top of the bed frame to the headboard and insert four bolts into the outer holes on the headboard legs. Screw four locknuts onto the four bolts, securing the attachment of the bed frame to the headboard.

Attach the bottom of the bed frame to the footboard and insert four bolts into the outer holes on the footboard legs. Screw four locknuts onto the four bolts, securing the attachment of the bed frame to the footboard.

Push the bed rails onto the headboard legs, one on each side of the bed. Swing the bed rails inward and align them with the bed frame. Attach the two support legs to the two bed rails, with one support leg on each side of the bed.

Insert a long bolt through the inner hole of the bed frame and the lower hole of the support leg. Repeat this step for the support leg on the opposite side of the bed. Secure the two long bolts with two locknuts.

Insert a short bolt through the inner hole of the bed rail and the upper hole of the support leg. Repeat this step for the support leg on the opposite side of the bed. Secure the two short bolts with two locknuts.

Use the hex wrench to tighten all the bolts on the bed to their respective locknuts. Check that all bolts and screws are tightened and that all four legs of the bed are attached securely to the headboard and footboard. Place the crib mattress on the completed bed frame.

Tip

The crib mattress should be at least 51 5/8 inches long and 27 1/4 inches wide.
